To ensure your safety and the quality of the plasma we collect, you must meet certain requirements to donate. Some of these requirements are as follows:
You must be between 18 and 64 years old (except in Alabama where the minimum age to donate is 19), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health.
You must also provide a valid photo I.D., proof of your current address and your Social Security or immigration card.
You can donate twice in a seven-day period, but the two donations must be separated by one calendar day. For example, if you donate on Monday, you will be eligible to donate again on Wednesday.
Some circumstances may prevent you from donating your plasma. These include travel to certain countries, pregnancy and some medical conditions.
